The Golf Connection is a full-service golf marketing company that provides dedicated, cost-effective golf event management, consulting, public relations, and direct marketing solutions to destinations, resorts and corporate clients in need of proven industry expertise and measurable strategies to drive awareness and revenue within the golf vertical. Our company is a specialized sales and marketing firm focused on creating cost-effective, target marketing strategies for destination based clients that generate accountable metrics and drive ROI through group/leisure bookings and special events. Our golf industry experience combined with extensive knowledge and contacts in the resort and travel space, allow us to provide clients with the increased expertise and resources needed to achieve their goals and compete for consumer attention.

Tom Jaronski

President

Tom is Founder and President of The Golf Connection, which has managed destination event programs including the Jamaica Invitational Pro-Am presented by Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum, the Admiral's Cup Pro-Am:  St. Kitts & Nevis, the Barbados Pro-Am, IBEROSTAR Golf Team Championship Mexico and Bermuda Pro-Am.  Past special event projects have included the American Experss U.S. Open Experience at Oakmont CC, the Puerto Rico Ambassador's Cup, the G’day USA CEO Golf Day and the Eric Trump Foundation Invitational benefiting St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

 

Tom began his professional career with the PGA TOUR, starting as a Production Assistant in the organization’s TV production unit. After four years, Tom joined the Corporate Marketing Department to manage the Tour’s national sponsorships. In 1997, he joined the NBC Television Network as Manager, Sports and Event Marketing. After 10 years in television and entertainment, Tom moved into print media joining the Golf Digest Companies as Director, Events and Sports Marketing in 1999. In this role, he directed customer event programs, brand sponsorships, and client entertainment platforms for Golf Digest, Golf World, and Golf Shop Operations magazines. In 2004, he was appointed Director of Marketing for Travel + Leisure Golf. During his tenure, T+L Golf developed unprecedented partnerships with Tourism Destinations around the globe and leading golf properties such as the USGA and PGA of America.

 

Tom is a graduate of Ithaca College where he earned his degree in Television-Radio Communications and a minor degree in Sports Management.  Tom played on the golf team at Ithaca and is an avid golfer, traveler and youth sports parent.
